| When I first set this up, I realized that there isn't much that just really gets me excited...therefore not much to talk about. Don't get me wrong, I love my family, but when you're with them 24/7 you don't really feel like telling your 'same ole thing' story.
I did however, help stina move her bedroom back upstairs with the rest of the family. It is really cute, and will make the school year much more pleasant. This left her old room open for the weight bench, treadmill, etc.
I do spend a lot of my time reading Dave Ramsey, listening to Dave Ramsey and on the forums on www.daveramsey.com this is my only form of adult conversation these days. DH is out working two jobs, and I'm at home paying the bills, creating the budget, learning about getting out of debt! We're going after our debt with "gazelle intensity" as Dave puts it! Getting "mad" at our debt, and DH's personal Dave favorite "living like no one else, so we can LIVE like no one else..." I'm thinking that if I continue to spend all my time trying to get our finances in order, I might just start to enjoy it. Maybe when this is all said and done, I'll get training to become a financial counselor. what do you think? | | |
| Well.. I've had this thing for 3 months, and this is my first entry. I spent so much time trying to figure out how to redesign it, that now I'm ready for bed!
I learned while putting this thing together, that I either really don't know much about myself (couldn't come up with pictures or thoughts) or I'm just not very creative. Maybe after doing this for a while i'll come up with some ideas. For those of you that know me, what picture would you say best describes me? Right now I'm into saving money, soI spend a lot of time coming up with tasty meals on a budget (thus the picture of food)
Well...it's past my bedtime! Goodnite! Maybe I'll get the hang of this and write more tomorrow!
